False Positives and State Crimes is an illustration project developed as a reflection on the false positives scandal and the massacres carried out by paramilitary groups in Colombia. The visual series addresses the systematic killing of innocent civilians, falsely presented as guerrillas killed in combat under the Democratic Security policy of President Álvaro Uribe Vélez (2002–2010).

Through a critical and documentary approach, the illustrations aim to highlight the magnitude of these state crimes and their impact on the victims and society. The project is part of historical memory, serving as a tool for denunciation, reflection, and the recognition of truth in a country marked by conflict.
